Jacqueline Demko, DDS, MS

Team Member

Dr. Jacqueline Demko is an entrepreneur and orthodontist, specializing in quality orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedics for children and adults. Her unique background starting her own organization has kept her constantly on the frontier of new innovations. She is dedicated to staying abreast of latest trends, cutting-edge technologies, and superior products to provide the best service possible to her patients.

Dr. Demko’s professional approach to orthodontics is grounded in orthopedic principles – a philosophic distinction in treatment goals. Where some dentists and orthodontists are solely concerned with straightening teeth, Dr. Demko’s first priorities are her patient’s needs, desires, and comfort. Before treatment begins, Dr. Demko and her staff will make sure each patient is aware of all options, and is then able to select the treatment that is best for them, their budget, and their schedule. Pulling teeth and attempting other invasive measures can permanently, and sometimes negatively, alter physical appearance, so Dr. Demko makes sure those are only used as a last resort.

Dr. Demko received her B.S. from St. Mary’s College, her D.D.S. from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and her M.S.D. in Orthodontics from St. Louis University. Active in her practice, Dr. Demko is a member of the American Dental Association, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the Missouri State Dental Society, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the St. Louis Research and Education Foundation. She has conducted extensive research in facial attractiveness, published by St. Louis University, and in addition to her practice and staffing at St. Luke’s hospital, she also lectures and speaks in seminars and study clubs (a few have included: Invisalign, Greater St Louis Dental Society, MDA Leadership Symposium).

Dr. Demko resides in Chesterfield with her three dogs. She loves little more than a great dinner with good friends, crossing items off her bucket list, travel, and activities like glass blowing or painting. She is involved in numerous local charities including her own, CODE:SMiLE, and actively participates in her alumnae associations.
