IS BOTOX® SAFE?

BOTOX® tends to make people nervous because it is made from toxic bacteria. But when it is injected into your skin, the muscles relax and the lines and wrinkles in your face disappear. Numerous studies have shown that it is safe when used in this manner. It is now FDA-approved.

HOW DOES JUVÉDERM® XC WORK?

JUVÉDERM® XC is a gel that is injected into the skin. It has a natural plumping effect that makes the lips look fuller and minimizes wrinkles. It is also used to smooth out the lines around the nose, sometimes referred to as parentheses.

CAN YOU BUY EPIONCE® SKINCARE PRODUCTS FROM THE STORE?

The only way to purchase EPIONCE® is through a physician or other skincare professional. It is not available in stores. Demko Orthodontics can provide you with an EPIONCE® skincare routine that is designed specifically for your skin type.

ARE THERE OTHER USES FOR BOTOX®?

BOTOX® is also used for migraines and TMJ disorder. It has been shown to relieve migraine pain and reduce the occurrence of migraines in some patients. It can relieve pain and improve the range of motion in the jaw for those who suffer from TMJ disorder.

ARE FACIAL AESTHETICS COVERED BY INSURANCE?

Insurance doesn’t cover facial aesthetics when they are used for cosmetic purposes. In some cases, BOTOX® for migraines or TMJ may be covered. Contact your insurance provider for specific information about your coverage.
