Holly Klaesner
Treatment Coordinator
Holly assists Dr. Demko during new patients’ visits and walks the patients through the treatment process. She has been on the Demko Team since September 2005. Holly loves helping the patients achieve their goal of a beautiful smile for life. She loves it so much that she had to get her own “Hollywood Smile” from Dr. Demko.
Holly is married with two sweet little girls. Her family enjoys spending time together swimming, camping, playing in the yard and vacations at the beach.
Heather Openlander
Patient Coordinator
Since joining Demko Orthodontics in March of 2007, Heather has devoted herself in making the Demko Orthodontic experience for every patient the best it can be. Having been in the orthodontic field since January 0f 2004, she knows what is important to the patient and will work to have those needs met.
Heather enjoys life away from work, as well. Whether it’s her annual trips to Walt Disney World or relaxing with a good movie, she makes the most of her off-time. She keeps herself busy with family commitments, her black lab Daisy, her cat Cosmo and spending time with her husband Kirk.

Donna Moore
Treatment Coordinator
Donna has been with Demko Orthodontics since January 2003 and in the orthodontic field for the past 21 years. In addition to her treatment coordinator duties Donna handles most of our financial arrangements and insurance in the St. Charles office. Donna looks forward to assisting Dr. Demko in any way she can to help create beautiful smiles that you and your family deserve.
She loves spending time with family & friends, shopping and reading.
Debbie Skelton
Lab Technician/ Clinical Assistant
Debbie has been with Demko Orthodontics since January 2003. She brought with her many years of experience, 21 of the years in the orthodontic field. She is our resident Lab technician and also works as a clinical assistant, where she enjoys helping to change lives one smile at a time.
Outside of the office Debbie loves to spend time with her family, work in her garden and read a good book.
Diane Finnern
Bookkeeper
Diane joined the Demko Orthodontics “team” with the addition of the St. Charles office in 2003. Having spent her entire career working in orthodontics, she contributes 35 years experience to our staff and presently works as our bookkeeper on a part-time basis.
Participation as an active member of a team dedicated to improving the lives of their patients has provided her with a sense of satisfaction beyond compare. Her devotion and dedication to the field of orthodontics is readily apparent.
Diane is happily married to her high school sweetheart, with 2 grown daughters and 2 grandchildren. Her present part-time status allows more time to pursue her love of outdoors by walking, horseback riding and bicycling.
Rick Demko
Rick over sees everything Technology and Marketing for Demko Orthodontics. Since 2005, Rick has worked intimately with the best IT firms in the region and brings a wealth of that knowledge to help facilitate the needs of the Demko Orthodontics infrastructure.
With a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and currently in pursuit of his MBA at St. Louis University, Rick brings a deep understanding of working business knowledge to help in consulting and coaching the team as well as managing the diverse marketing strategy for Demko Orthodontics.
Washington Location
Kim Dowill
Treatment Coordinator
As Treatment Coordinator in our Washington office, Kim takes pride in educating and guiding our patients through the beginning of their orthodontic experience. She has 15 years experience in the field of orthodontics. Kim has been with Demko Orthodontics since 1995, took a 2 year break to focus on her family and rejoined our office in 2002. To see the transformation that is created in each smile, the confidence that the patient grows during treatment and the joy on their faces at the removal of braces is a true reward of her profession.
Kim and her husband enjoy boating, camping and swimming with their 2 boys.
Tracy Juergens
Patient Coordinator
Tracy joined the Demko “team” in August of 2010. After spending 25 years in the Accounting Field, she has found her place in the orthodontic world. As the Patient Coordinator in our Washington office, Tracy is excited to be able to assist our patients with their questions and needs. Tracy enjoys being a part of watching beautiful smiles develop daily. When Tracy is not working, she donates her time with CASA and The American Cancer Society assisting them with their fundraising needs. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her daughters, Jessica, Kristen and Samantha at the lake.
Clinical Assistants
Katy Hackerson
Katy is a certified dental assistant and has worked with Dr. Demko since November 2002. She loves working in the orthodontic field, seeing the results of the patients smile, is very rewarding to her. She loves coming to work and knowing that she will have a good day with staff as well as our fun patients.
When Katy is not at work she loves to spend time with her family, her cute dog Lacy and cheering for her favorite team the Chicago Cubs.
Amy England
Amy is a registered dental assistant who graduated from Forest Park Community College in the summer of 2008. She enjoys the fun friendly atmosphere, seeing our patients make progress throughout their treatment, and seeing their “Demko Smile” materialize.
In her spare time she enjoys shopping and hanging out with her friends and family.
Gail Thomas
Gail is one of our excellent orthodontic assistants that has been with Demko Orthodontics since 2006. She has 26 years experience and loves smiling with our patients encouraging them through their treatment. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her animals.
Julianne Sita
J.J. graduated from Allied College as a dental assistant in June of 2010 before joining Demko in November 2010. She enjoys working at Demko so she can help people raise their confidence by making them a beautiful smile. ... After all, Smiles are worth a million words!
Outside of work J.J. enjoys watching movies; love's listening to music and going to concerts. She has been to more concerts than she has movies in the theater.
Debbie Winkles
Debbie has been with Demko Orthodontics since May 2010. She is certified assistant with over 20 years experience in Orthodontics. What she enjoys most about her job is the one on one interaction she has with both patients and parents. Debbie loves watching the transformation of the patient’s new smiles!
Her personal time is spent with husband Mark going to Cardinal baseball games, country music concerts, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with family which includes four children, four grandkids and 2 more on the way this summer!
